Canyon Creation

The hoodoos seen in Bryce Canyon are formed by the freezing and thawing of water over and over again for thousands of years. The consistently changing state of the water stands out in the difference between the orange color of the hoodoos in the canyon and the blue hue of the mountains in the distance.
