Protruding Patriarchs

Among the difficult and challenging hikes at Zion National Park, a short trail leads to the best view of the Court of The Patriarchs. While envisioning what I wanted this photograph to encapsulate after my brief walk, I noticed the dramatic clouds moving past the three mountain peaks which seemed permanently set against the backdrop of the sky. What seemed so unwavering and persistent had been ever-changing over thousands of years as time, clouds, animals, and now people passed them by.
